Texoma Health Foundation Park (THF Park) is a beautifully designed 80-acre community park situated in the heart of Gateway Village’s master-planned community. The park was envisioned as a central gathering place where families, individuals, and visitors can connect with nature, enjoy outdoor recreation, and participate in community activities. From the moment it opened in August 2018, THF Park has become a go-to destination for those seeking both active lifestyles and peaceful green spaces. The park offers a wide variety of amenities, including:
• Multi-use sports fields for soccer, football, and other activities
• Miles of walking and running trails
• Outdoor fitness stations
• Large playgrounds and splash pads for children
• Covered pavilions and gathering spaces for family events and community programs
• Open green spaces for picnics and casual play
• Accessible and inclusive for people of all ages and abilities.
The creation of THF Park was made possible through a strong public-private partnership between the City of Denison, the Texoma Health Foundation, and Covenant Development. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building spaces that enhance health and quality of life for the entire community. As a key piece of Gateway Village, the park embodies Covenant Development’s vision of seamlessly blending residential living, healthcare, retail, and recreation to create a vibrant, connected environment where individuals and families can thrive.
